A bit about me...
Hi, I’m Deejay — the founder of P3 Performing Arts 👋
I started P3 after over 10 years of working in schools and the performing arts industry, where I had the opportunity to help many other stage schools grow and develop. Over time, I realised I wanted to create something of my own — a school that truly puts the child’s experience first.

Growing up, I didn’t always have access to opportunities like this, and I know just how powerful performing arts can be in building confidence, communication skills, and a real sense of belonging. That’s exactly why I created P3 — to give children a safe, supportive space to grow, express themselves, and feel valued.

Alongside running P3, I also teach Drama and Music in a high school and have extensive experience working with children of all abilities, including those with additional needs. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs, and I’m passionate about making sure every child feels included and supported in my classes.

My teaching approach is simple — positive, encouraging, and child-focused. I believe every child should feel confident enough to try, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress without pressure or comparison.

Alongside my teaching experience, I hold a Bachelor of the Arts in Music Theatre and a Master of the Arts in Musical Theatre, and have worked professionally across the industry. My experience includes touring theatre productions across the UK, as well as working within the film and television industry. This allows me to bring real, up-to-date industry knowledge into my teaching, while still keeping classes fun, accessible, and focused on building confidence.
At P3, it’s not just about learning to perform — it’s about giving students the opportunity to develop high-quality skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

P3 is more than just a performing arts school — it’s a community.

It’s a place where children build confidence, make friendships, and support one another. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child walk through the door feeling nervous, and within a few weeks, growing in confidence and finding their voice.

That’s what P3 is all about.

Meet My Team!
At P3 Performing Arts, we are proud to have a passionate and dedicated team of teachers who share the same values and commitment to creating a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment for every child.

Karis, Amelia, Ceri and Kirsty each bring their own unique strengths, experience, and energy to our classes, helping to deliver engaging sessions in acting, singing and dance. Together, we work to ensure that every student feels seen, encouraged, and confident to express themselves, no matter their starting point.

Our team is united by a genuine love for working with young people and a shared belief that performing arts can have a lasting impact on confidence, creativity, and personal growth 💛
